Gilbert retires from LPOA board of Trustees

During last December’s regular LPOA meeting the board of trustees accepted board member Amy Gilbert’s letter of resignation.  Amy has been an active board member for over 6 years while holding many titles and being involved in the community many ways.  One of the many accomplishments that Amy has completed was assuring that many of Lakengren’s newer amenities became handicap accessible for those that needed it.  She also played a major part of the road paving project and helped over see that all the roads in Lakengren were paved in a timely manner. 

In addition to the paving project she had a part in the redesigning and purchasing of the new road signs that we currently have that have been a major improvement to our road system.  She was also a key player in the drive-thru proposal, like many others she dedicated many volunteer hours towards that project.  Amy also stood as the chairwoman for the A&E committee and was the website editor for years until career obligations became a priority.

Amy has dedicated many endless hours to Lakengren to ensure that Lakengren is and will be moving forward on a continuous basis.  She always brought a different view to the table with Lakengren being her best interest.
