Why can’t I pay my LPOA/LWM bills online?
The LPOA board is currently looking into this feature. We hope to have this on the website by late spring or early summer.
Who do I contact if I cannot pay a bill or a bill is going to be late?
Contact the LPOA office via phone or email. The office and board members are always willing to work with members in times of extreme need.
How is my dues/assessments used within the community?

I haven’t paid a bill in a long time now I’m being taken to court.
This civil process was started a few years ago to encourage those who can pay but however are refusing too. If you receive a letter from the courts or LPOA contact the LPOA immediately to get the problem resolved.
I would like to dispute a bill with the LPOA or LWM
This can be done it three ways, you may contact the LPOA office via phone or email which can be found on the home page under contacts. You may also appear in person at the main office to dispute your bill.
I have misplaced my bill from the LPOA or LWM how do I get a new one?
Contact the LPOA office asap via phone, email or in person and an office staff member will be glad to assist you.
I cannot pay my dues all at once is there a payment plan I can use?
Yes, however you must appear at the LPOA office to complete simple paperwork.
How do I let my friends or family in the entrances?
They must be called into the main gate by phone by the property owner, for further details see the guest entry policy posted on the homepage.
LWM Trash services
I’m going to be gone for several months do I still have to pay?
There is a program that is geared to “snowbirds” or members that are going to be away from their home for long periods of time. Contact the LPOA office for further paperwork process.
I am disabled or elderly will someone take my trash cans to the curb?
Yes, however you must appear at the LPOA office or call the office to request an application to be mailed to you. Each application is considered on a case by case basis.
Does the LWM pick up old refrigerators, washers or other large appliances?
Yes, but you must call the LPOA office so a crew can be sent to your residence
I have an old bicycle or other scrap metal that needs disposed of.
Call the LPOA office, maintenance will be glad to pick it up.
When do they pick up old tires?
Upon request only, please do not thrown them away at the maintenance barn.
I want to get an extra trash can from the LWM or other supplier.
You may now rent a blue wheeled trash can from the LPOA for a one time rental fee of $20.00 although we currently do not require extra cans to be an LPOA issued one we encourage any extra cans to be. This helps the trash service workers quality and performance.
Once my trash is picked up where does it go?
To the Preble County Sanitary Landfill, which is located on US Route 127 directly East of Lake Lakengren.
I missed the trash truck for the week, now what?
LWM understands we all forget, run behind or whatever the case may be this is one of the minor services we provide if we missed you call the LPOA office and the truck will return back to your residence to remove your trash.
My trash tote is broken how do I get a new one?
Contact the LPOA office via email or phone and one will be delivered to your residence provided it is broken under normal wear and tear or our fault.
Recycling
We have our own trash service why is Rumpke picking up the recycling?
Preble County has entered into a three year contract with Rumpke to provide recycling services to Lakengren, Eaton and Lewisburg this is paid through your property taxes not LPOA dues and assessments.
I have a recycling blue/grey/green bin but Rumpke won’t take my recycling?
If this is your case email m_brueggemann@lakengrenpoa.org and a red one will be delivered to your residence within a few days.
What is the “caught recycling” program that I hear about?
A program designed to reward those that are found recycling within the community. Please click on the rewards program found on the homepage under recycling.
I asked for a recycling bin but I never got one? Or how do I get one?
The webmaster/editor and recycling coordinator receive many emails a day and may be a simple over site. If this is your case please re-email the person and state your request again.
Where does my recycling go once Rumpke takes possession of it?
Rumpke has several contracts with several companies that purchase the material off of them. Some of the unusable stuff still may end up in a landfill near Cincinnati though.
I don’t know what can and cannot be recycled where do I find information?

Can I have more than one recycling bin at a time?
You may have as many as you need, the only request is that you use them for their purpose.
I don’t want a bin all the time but I am having a party can I rent a bin(s)?
You do not have to rent a bin, you may email m_brueggemann@lakengrenpoa.org with your request. The only requirement is that they are actually used for recycling and not trash cans for the borrowed amount of time.
