Paul Ellison Honored

Paul Ellison has been a valuable resource for the LPOA for the last 6 years, with 4 of those years serving as President of the Board of Trustees.  He has helped implement the gate system that we currently use with the bar code readers for those gates.  He helped us develop our own police district to where we now have a dedicated Sheriff’s Deputy that patrols in Lakengren 40 hours a week.  He also helped in getting the LWM Trash Service up and running that to this day is still a successful project.

 To say the least, he has helped us navigate down many winding roads.  Let’s not forget he was instrumental like many of us on the Board, for finishing the roads in Lakengren which have been a real matter of importance for the whole community.  During his term he has guided the boards in such a manner that the board now has earned the trust of the community.   Paul has done this through honesty, integrity and by only doing what’s right for Lakengren.

Paul has been the level head to which we have turned to on matters of importance.  He always tried to keep the peace among the Board members, and was fair and impartial when needed to be, and not quick to jump to conclusions.  Paul will not be out of the politics of Lakengren.  He has asked to take over the Financial Planning Committee, and possibly the Policy Review Committee as well.  So, he will still be involved in some very important roles.

Paul , we say thank you for your years of service to this community, and hope for more with the committees, as your wealth of knowledge is an asset to this community.  But as far as his role on the Board, he will be missed.
